Emotions determine behavior. We face negative emotions every day. The five major negative emotions are Sadness, Confusion, Anger, Fear and Disgust. When these five are overcome, a person gains positive qualities of Confidence, Clarity, Calmness, Faith and Humility.

Breathing and emotions are like two-way switches. One is inextricably pinned to the other. Our emotional state alters our breathing pattern and vice versa. When our mind is clouded with negativity, our breathing is erratic and shallow. When our mind is emotionally stable, our breathing is deep and rhythmic. Similarly, altering our breathing pattern can change our emotional state. By consciously practicing breathing techniques, we can train our minds to be emotionally stable

This course offers a step by step training for kids to practice five breathing techniques that have a profound effect on the five emotional states of the mind. The course is provided as a story. Children can relate each emotion to a specific situation in the story. This helps the learning to be deeply ingrained. During a time when kids are in and out of classrooms, and with increasing screentime practicing these activities every day will act as a lifeline to preserve their psychological equilibrium.

Breathing techniques provided in this course are based on Yoga Pranayama. Any doubts can be posted on the course discussion post and will be clarified by the instructor.
